A solar storage tank is used to hold water heated by the solar collectors through the heat exchanger. The solar heated water is drawn through the water heater and into your home, causing your water heater to use less energy.

If you chose to add other system options, such as two or more solar collectors or an anti-scald valve, installation may take up to two days.
